About Us

Established in 1970 as a private, members only, shooting club dedicated to sharing our passion for shooting and hunting sports. Suburban Sportsman's Club features the following amenities:

  • Regulation, handicap accessible, Trap Range

  • Covered 10 & 25 yard Range for handguns

  • Covered 50 yard Range for handguns and long barrels

  • Covered 100 & 200 yard Range for long range shooting and sight-in

  • Covered pavilion for eating and staging

  • Electric gate for secure, convenient, entry and exit

Location

We are conveniently located south of Lakeville MN, just off I-35 and State Highway 19

Join us for our monthly meeting

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month (except December) at 7:30p.m. at the Savage American Legion located on 12375 Princeton Ave, Savage MN.  (This is subject to current COVID 19 guidelines)

The club periodically opens its facilities to the public for sight-ins, youth firearm training, Women only range days and Thursday evening Trap during the summer.

Directions

From the North:

  • South on I-35 to State Highway 19, exit 69

  • West 1.5 miles to Canby Trail -- go North one (1) mile

  • SSC is on the left (follow the signs).

From the East:

  • From Northfield, take Highway 19 west, to Canby Trail -- follow the signs

 

From the West:

  • From Lonsdale, take Highway 19 east, to Canby Trail -- follow the signs.
